We woke up earlier this morning to get things done. J, Bretto and I go to Tim and Tara's place around 10:30AM. We went to Tim Hortons to have breakfast. I had a sandwich, coke and a honey cruller. It was delicious. After that we made a quick visit to see if Tara's ring had been resized. The jeweller didn't resize it properly so back to drawing board they went.
Next stop was EA Vancouver. Tim is a programmer there and he gave us a tour of the campus. It was pretty nice, with a slew of amenities for the staff. Alas, no pictures were allowed for various reasons. It was neat and scary to see how much effort EA puts into making the programmers feel at home at work. Why go home if you had a gym/theatre/soccer field/basketball court/etc... Except maybe to pick up chicks as the ratio of men to women is askew.
Now we will head to Vernon/Kelowna.
We got lots of time to catch up in the car. The roads were not so bad, but they weren't great. Tim drove one car and Tara drove another. I went with Tim and Jamie, with Tara. It was about 11:00PM when we reached Larry's place just on the outside of Vernon. I reached my parent's place at about 11:30PM.
Wow, we are tired.
