It's been weeks since I've been to DenDenTown, the otaku heaven in Osaka. I had been enticed to go (twist my rubber arm) by Heather for lunch and good company, in return for advice on hardware and witty banter. As always, my DenDen trips attract others so Jerome also tagged along to look at laptops.
Because I have been away so long my internal price list for used PCs was out of sync. You can get a P4 2.0 for about $150CAD, used of course. They had 3 workstations: 2.0 Xeons, 1G ram, FireGL for $190CAD each, on special.
Time for an upgrade for the media player!
