Slip and SLIDE

Every once in a while work asks me to slide a shift. For example, I start work at 13:20 but they ask me to start later at 14:15 or 15:10. Once or twice a month is fine, but this month they have asked me to do three or four. Usually it's because they lack instructors to teach a certain course. I say train more instructors! Lucky for them I don't teach privates or they'd be SOL. It would also mean a student or three would be screwed out of a lesson.

I was told that all training except new instructor training has been cancelled this month. The course that I am supposedly in charge of co-ordinating has been changed and I haven't been informed of how training is to change. This course was a man to man only type and now it will change to a 3 way group lesson. So all the training materials will have to be changed and the best part is that all of the Trainers and "experienced" instructors are as new as the newbies.

Somehow I have to arrange some new video recordings of "good" instructors teaching the new style lessons, alter the training material, and adapt the training to match a new style of training which puts all participants online on the conferencing system as opposed to in a boardroom. All of this has to be ready for April, and I have to beg for time to do it.

Chaos rules!
