For the past few days I have been quite lazy about posting, but I have been reading other people's blogs and I must also catch up on news.
As you may remember I got gout. I was in a lot of pain. The swelling has gone done and a dull ache remains, especially in the morning. The doctor told me that I should exercise it on my bike, and by walking about. Over the past few days I have done just that.
It's kind of weird how weak your ankle gets after a short period of inactivity. My right ankle just doesn't hold my weight like my left ankle when I do heel lifts. I just got back the ability to rotate my ankle, but the pain is still there if I over extend myself.
I have had the last four days off because I was wise enough to line up the swap payback days together. I might as well get some benefit from swaps for others if I can't say no. I have spent a lot of time at home because of the ankle.
That said, I got a lot done at home. I replaced the laptop with an older PC to handle the distribution of the community internet. I also swapped out the router with a switch so now all the computers can log into hotmail and msn. I guess hopping across two NATs was too difficult for MS Passport.

Hey Richard. Sorry I've been a little incommunicado lately.
Dude, when shit like that happens, CALL! I would have been happy to help!
Anyway, glad you're okay, and life is getting a little bit back to normal.

Thanks to friends, it wasn't so bad. I now have about 90% (maybe) of my mobility back.
