End of the road...

This past weekend marked the end of the road for a few people we knew. It was the end of their time in Japan. Claire, Havard, and Oliver had their sayounara at Umiya in Amemura. By coincidence there was also a sayounara party at the same place for Jordan and Cassie, some people from work.

The mood was upbeat and happy as people were drinking and still having fun and the night was still young. This was where we started our night out. Our group was made up of me, Jamie, Rachel and Kiyomi. The group moved over to Mad Cafe to join the party. Moose was the man of the hour as he was heading back to Canada.

Usually at Mad Cafe there is a small area for dancing, but on this night it was filled with an extra table and some chairs for people to use. The girls really wanted to go dancing so the group decided to head to a club. Our first choice was Grand Cafe but they wanted 2500yen for cover because there was live music or something. We woudl have paid but the time was already 3AM so there would only be 2 hours until close. So Russ lead us to the nearest Sam and Dave's. The cover was 500yen but it included a drink so in essence there was no cover. There was room to dance and the music was okay, but it was Reggae night and they had some DJ yelling into the mike all night so it got old fast. To end the night we decided to skip out on Sam and Dave's and we headed to clubdunk. I think we got there a little before 5AM and we stayed a little longer than anticipated because I got home around 8AM and then started work at 1PM.
