Jamie and I got there right on time and everyone, well, rolled in a little late. That didn't phase us. When everyone arrived we took a bus to Kinkakuji. It was nice because it didn't rain much when we were walking around the temple grounds. By the end of the walk we decided the next destination was Heian shrine.
We were to meet Sako at Heian. I think we misjudged the speed of the bus system in Kyoto because we were a little behind schedule. It didn't help that all of us except Jamie had to answer nature's call. Sako was a little worried since it had started pouring down at this point in time. Luckily when we arrived at the giant Tori the rain had petered out.
Heian shrine was nice and we went to the Kyoto Handicrafts Centre where the girls spent some cash. After shopping everyone was famished so we headed to a nice noodle place and had our fill. The girls went back to Seiko's place to pick up their gear and Jamie and I went home.
The girls are coming to our place tonight to stay and we are heading out for all night Karaoke... more on this later.
Oh and our camera rolled over at image 9900. So now we are counting from 0001 again. I have only reset the counter once by accident so we are just under 10000 pictures since we bought that camera last Christmas. Yay!
