Another sayounara

The Kita family keeps on shrinking. The latest departure was made by Kirsten. That leaves Jean as the last one, other than us. In the new tradition Kirsten had more than one sayounara.

For the official down town sayounara we headed down to the 280 in Amemura near Midosuji. Unfortunately it was packed and no reservations were made, but lucky for us the Umiya near Balabushka's was open and empty.

We all sat down in Umiya and had the a la carte menu, where all items were 380. I had their version of Loco Moco and it was pretty good.

I was Kirsten's photographer so I made sure to get pictures of her and everybody. This became more difficult as the night wore on.

Luckily no-one cried as some good byes were said at the end of the night. Some people had to work early the next day so they were going to miss out on the all night affair. I had already steeled myself for the madness. We left Umiya and headed for Mad Cafe. On the way we saw some awesome Engrish signs!

The Hyperactive Child Dining Lounge was my favourite. We eventually found our way to Mad Cafe so that Kiki could say bye-bye to the likes of Kouji and Misaki. We also found out that our friend Alex J was spinning records there that night. We all got in for half price. Sweet!

Once inside everyone started to drink and dance the night away. As you can see everybody had a great time on the floor. Kirsten had some shots, including a weird one that came from a container shaped like a sperm. It must have been kinda funky because she grimaced. Heh heh.

Anyway... at one point she was missing her man so Kiki went outside to call him so a few of us followed and sat outside a large parking garage. From here it was decided that we were all to go to Amemura to see if there was a party there.

It was sort of busy when we arrived at triangle park but we decided to head towards Zerro after a bit. We even got a chance to duck into a dress shop at 4AM. While the two girls were looking at dresses an old Japanese guy came up and shook my hand and mumbled something in Japanese while smiling. I think he thought I was the sugar daddy and the girls were my honeys inside. You know, Asian guy with two obviously white girls... one a blonde and one a brunette... obviously Eastern European call girls!

We made it to Zerro and hung out for a bit then we headed to Royal host to end our night.

Kirsten was still coherent at this point but she was happy nonetheless. We managed a lot for one night: Umiya, Mad Cafe, Triangle Park, dressing shopping, Zerro and Royal Host.

Awesome-looking blog page. How did you make the small thumbnails in your posts?
