It seems like the party never ends in Osaka. I do have hobbies but never really have time to do them. It's been a long time since me and the PC have had some quality 1:1 time. Instead I'm running around Osaka with the camera capturing friends in compromising situations. This in itself will be my new hobby I think.
The latest event was Adelle's birthday. We all headed down to Blow. It's a small Izakaya (Japanese Pub) style hangout that serves food and drinks for 500yen. Like all Izakayas the food was good but the portions small. This also applied to the drinks. The company however, more than made up for that. It started out small and then we suddenly had two tables worth of people.
After a few drinks were forgotten by the staff and everyone finished their food we headed off to Zerro for some dancing. When we got there it was starting to fill up. We managed to get some seats in a corner at the back. This was nearest to the dance floor. Some of the people in our group started to dance to the music.
A little later a group of asian, we didn't quite know if they were Japanese or not, people came in with their child! She looked like she was 12 or 13 in asian years. We know asians look younger than they are but we had enough children's teachers in our group to make a good guess. We watched their group and commented on hoe the little girl plugged her ears because of the loud dance music making all of deaf. Eventually they left and the dance floor was ours again.
Adelle really wanted to go out to a club. Scott was itching for some R&B or Reggae and was pushing Sam and Dave's. The club regulars in the group warned us that it was Saturday night that it would be too crowded. We eventually settled on Club Camon. It was a good sized club but it was newer so it wouldn't be so crowded.
Oh and there was a stripper pole there. Alas, after Dunk/Soire closed we had missed playing with a stripper pole. We got our money's worth of play time. In fact we even saved some money at the door because we knew Arthur who was working security. Jamie met him when she worked as eye candy at a now defunct lounge/club called Caligula.
Anyway, we all danced the night away, even Scott enjoyed himself since they were playing HipHop and R&B instead of the usual electronica.
