Lamb Dinner and the OCAT Dancers

Ever since the demise of Dunk we had to find a different place to frequent. We found Zerro. It's a nice little place that has a bar, dance floor and a kitchen. The menu has everything from little snacks to full entrées. This last Friday the entrée of choice was lamb. Because I don't get off until after 9PM, Jamie had gone ahead and ordered a plate for me.

Also there with her were Adelle, Scott, Ryan S. and his friend Akiko. They had made plans to meet for dinner and then they were heading out on the town.

Jamie and I were going to meet others for some all night Karaoke. When everyone left for Balabushkas we made our way to the OCAT building because I had planned to meet Armandina and the crew near there. The OCAT building is a hub because the trains and airport buses all meet near here. It is also known as a place dancers come to practice their moves. That night we watch some amazing stuff as the dancers practised their head spins and other acrobatics.

Most of them have part time jobs and hone their skills on their days off in hopes of one day making it big like Jay Lo. One guy was really good and he kept spinning on his hands upside down. He was ripped but it still looked like more effort than it was worth for me to try it.

Of course they also did some easier moves as well. Easier is a loose term because these tricks required excellent balance and immense strength.

All in all it was quite impressive to see these guys in action.
