Jetlag has us waking up at times we usually are sleeping. I think I woke up at 8:00AM!
Today we visited Grama Thomas in Kamloops. She had slipped on some ice before Christmas and broke her thigh bone. It started as a fracture but eventually, due to movement and what not, turned into a full break. The problem was compounded due to the timing of the event, as most of the doctors were away for the holidays. She has been in the hospital about 21 days and she couldn't wait to leave.
After we visited and moaned and bitched about the rest of the family, we went with Wes (Jamie's dad) to get something to eat. We settled on the Italian kitchen in Vernon, and boy it was delicious! Wes is great to visit as he doesn't try to hog our time.
