The Texas Rancher

After getting off the bus at Shin-Osaka we had to meet up with Masami. Our meeting place was the Silver Ball at the OCAT building. There weren't many dancers out that night but the girls got to watch a few practised routines.

Also on the list of must see sights was Doutombori. As we were walking there Jamie picked up some strays visiting from Korea. We gladly accepted them into our group and lead them there.
Many photos were taken of the bright and flashy lights of the streets in the Doutombori area.

The famous sites like the Glico man and the drumming clown. Unfortunately the big lit Glico man was under repairs so we settled for the other one.

Somehow we found ourselves down in the host/hostess club area near Soemoncho. Everyone has to visit the sleazy side of town right? At least it wasn't in Shinimamiya where the hookers are on display. No, not quite like Amsterdam but not subtle either.

Here we showed them how some of the bars are just little one room affairs. You can see that some buildings have so many venues that the signs are very small.

Well, one can only take in so much pseudo prostitution before one gets tired so we headed out and made our way home on the subway. We were all hungry so we tried the Korean place by our place but it was closed. The girls had made mention of the Texas Rancher as we passed earlier so we went in to have a bite and a gab. You can see Lana enjoying the American Hamburga.
